The crash occurred shortly before 9 a.m. on Friday, April 5 eastbound near Exit 3 in Hamilton Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
All lanes were closed, 511nj.org reported.
Based on a preliminary investigation, a Ford pickup, Chevrolet box truck, Peterbilt tractor-trailer and Toyota passenger vehicle were traveling eastbound on I-195. In the area of milepost 4, when a collision occurred between all four vehicles, according to New Jersey State Police.
As a result of the crash, the passenger of the Chevrolet sustained moderate injuries and was transported to an area hospital, State Police said.
The driver of the Chevrolet sustained minor injuries. There were no other injuries reported.
The accident remains under investigation and there is no additional information available at this time.
